Education Alternatives in Gilbert Arizona

Gilbert Public Schools will serve more than 35,000 students at its high schools, junior high schools and elementary schools, as well as at the Gilbert Learning Center, in the 2007 - 2008 school year. Gilbert Public School's dedicated staff is committed to providing exemplary services to all its students. The school district consists of 5 high schools, 6 junior high schools, 27 elementary schools, 3 academies, and 2 alternative education schools. The alternative education schools are Gilbert Learning Center and Distance Learning, both of which teach high and junior high students who need or prefer alternative programs or teaching styles to meet the graduation requirements. Other colleges and universities include Arizona State University, the Chandler-Gilbert Community College, Collins College, which focuses on design, media and technology, and the community colleges of Mesa, Scottsdale and Rio Salado.
